The most common disease of the foot and nail is toenail fungus . This disease is caused by a fungus and the nail of the foot start damaging with time. It is curable but it recurs. This disease is most common in the areas where fungal growth is very common or in the humid environment. Carpeted rooms also promote this disease. The common sign and symptoms of this disease are yellow spots under the growing nail and the damaging of the nail and decrease in the size of the nail is very common signs of this disease. The nail turns yellow in this disease and gives cloudy appearance. Sometime, the disease get sever and the nail get separated from the nail bed.  However, pain is not present in the toes and patient complains about pain when the disease is much severed. Sometime, lesion or rashes are formed on the body parts or on the skin of foot they may be contaminated with fungus or not.
